Talk about pedigree! The Allen Edmonds Dalton boot — featuring a calfskin leather upper, orange leather lining, and a leather sole — was designed by Jim Dayton, a Minneapolis-based architect (and Frank Gehry protege). Dayton was initially hired to design an Allen Edmonds boutique, a project so successful that he was tapped to design a wingtip — which, in its inaugural season, was the top-selling men’s shoe for the 92-year-old company. $435. Harry Rosen Menswear, Rideau Centre, 50 Rideau St., 613-230-7232.
The sleeveless Indy dress by Tiger of Sweden hits mid-thigh and features a high, rounded neckline. Vincent Boutique, 444 Preston St., 613-680-4277.
