One of the Glebe’s favourite neighbourhood eateries has a new chef at the helm. Danny Mongeon (ex of Brut Cantina Sociale, Hooch Bourbon House, and Share Freehouse) takes over at Erling’s Variety on Tuesday, July 5. It’s the first time Mongeon, a darling of restaurant critics and foodies alike, has headed up a restaurant in the Glebe.

City Bites Hot Tip: Mongeon debuts his new menu on opening day. Though he wouldn’t give away too much, Mongeon did tell City Bites that he will build on what the restaurant’s former chef, Jeff Bradfield, has accomplished, while focusing on a very “vegetable forward” menu for the summer.
