Those in the know are well aware that the coolest new hotel in town is Andaz (325 Dalhousie St.) and that its main restaurant, overseen by Chef Stephen La Salle, is Feast + Revel. That’s why City Bites was so intrigued to see everyone talking about an upcoming event entitled Feast, Revel + Grind. Sounded a little dirty, but turns out Andaz is hosting a barista invitational.

The event takes place on Saturday, October 15 (2-4pm), and coffee hounds would do well to register early to take in the grinding and pouring prowess of top baristas from La Bottega, Origin Trade, Planet Coffee, Bar Robo, and Equator.

City Bites Hot Tip: We hear the event is free (though Feast + Revel will be serving pastries and Equator is donating the caffeine), so suggest you take all that money you saved and splurge on an after-competition dinner at Andaz.
