Sarah Ives dove into the raw food movement in 2008 as an alternative way to help manage her father’s health after he was diagnosed with cancer. She soon noticed that by increasing her raw food intake by even a small percentage, she felt more energetic. After taking a specialized course at California’s Living Light Culinary Institute, Ives launched Oh My Raw, a business dedicated to teaching people how to prepare raw food meals and how to incorporate the approach into a busy lifestyle.
