Last week, Strawberry Blonde Bakery fired up its ice cream machine and began swirling out two flavours of soy-based soft serve — vanilla and strawberry. It’s always a great day for a brain freeze, so we ordered up a cone (small $3.75; large $4.75) to take a lick. The verdict: light, cold, and smooth. It’s not super-creamy, but it is super-refreshing.
