Fashion show fundraiser aims to end violence against women

Cocktails and clothes will set the scene at City Hall this Thursday, May 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Zonta Club of Ottawa, an organization supporting women, is hosting a fashion show to raise funds for a host of issues such as violence against women, human trafficking, and elder abuse.

With catering by Epicuria, frocks from Viens Avec Moi, a harpist duo to serenade your evening, special guest host Carol Anne Meehan, and a video message direct from Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau, it’s sure to be a success. At last year’s event, Zonta Club raised $3,500 and hope to beat that number this year.

Tickets $75 before May 3, $100 at the door.
City Hall, 110 Laurier Ave. W.
