What’s going on tomorrow, THURSDAY, DEC. 3
Angel Square
It’s the mid-1940’s, an era when the times were tough and the kids even tougher. Tommy is trying to solve a mystery in Lowertown, knowing that the answer lies in Angel Square. But this is the location of a cultural divide between French, Protestant, and Jewish kids who battle it out daily. An Ottawa classic, find out how Tommy learns about the forces that divide and unite communities. Premiering Thursday, Dec. 3, tickets start at $20. See website for play times.
GCTC, 300-1227 Wellington St. W. 613- 236-5192.
HUB Holiday Market
Some of Ottawa’s favourite artisans will be together in one room for a night of fun – including DJ Fun who will keep the night bumin’. Thursday, Dec. 3, Ottawa’s Impact HUB will be filled to the brim with retailers of jewelry, art, accessories, clothing, skin care products, food and then some. With vendors like eepmon, Sweet Cheeks Kitchen, Happiness Hapits 613, and TUBEDJewelry, you can expect some weirdly wonderful and totally unique gifts. For a full vendor list, check out Facebook.
Admission is free but donations for the Ottawa Food Bank are encouraged – bring a non-perishable food item if you can, it is the season of giving after all.
