NIGHT LIGHT MASQUERADE WITH STEFAN THOMPSON
Imagine Wall Space Gallery transformed into a world of graffiti culture, all guests dressed for a masquerade party. This is what’s happening as local artist Stefan Thompson leads a crew of young talent in this one-night-only event. There will be digital art, projections, live mural painting, and, of course, music! If you have time in the days leading up to the event, stop by the gallery to see the development and evolution of a large mural on-site. $5. Friday, July 19. 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. Wall Space Gallery, 358 Richmond Rd. www.wallspacegallery.ca

CANDLELIGHT MOVIE NIGHT
Charlie Chaplin is one of the most recognizable figures of the 20th century, and you’ll find out why as the Algonquin College Public Relations program provides an outdoor showing of “The Kid.” By attending, you will also be supporting Candlelighters in their work helping families who have a child with cancer. It’s all part of Algonquin’s Be a Night Light campaign, which aims to raise funds for, and awareness off, the goals of Candlelighters. By donation. Saturday, July 20. 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Tanglewood Park Community Centre, 30 Woodfield Dr. www.beanightlight.com

MOTEL RAPHAEL
This Montreal-based indie pop folk band has only been together for just over a year, but have had the pleasure of performing at some top festivals, including Pop Montreal and the Montreal Fringe Festival. Join the ridiculousness as they perform with The Hated Sons and Three Little Birds. Friday, July 19. 9:00 p.m. Mercury Lounge, 56 ByWard Market Square. www.mercurylounge.com

RECONNECT WITH YOUR LOVED ONES ON THE OTHER SIDE

Sunday, July 21. 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Exact address provided to participants. www.reconnecttoit.com.
