Paddleboard down the Rideau Canal for a good cause at Stand UP for CHEO 2013

Raise money for a good cause and grow the sport of stand up paddling in the capital region with this non-profit event. The morning paddle starts at Mooney’s Bay beach and winds its way along the historic Rideau Canal through the city core. Choose from three distances and then return to the beach to relax, socialize, and indulge in a well-deserved lunch. Mooney’s Bay Beach. An enchanting performance opens the festival Music and Beyond. Bringing together music and circus for one night only, Music and Beyond is a 72 concert celebration happening July 4th-15th. Collaborating with Cirque Fantastic, this special event will showcase some of Canada’s best circus performers. Packed with over twelve different circus acts including trapeze artists, jugglers, acrobats, a contortionist, silk ribbon performers, and even a flying violinist, this night is sure to be one of a kind. From one of the producer’s of Rockalily Burlesque comes Ottawa’s first feature-length, theatre burlesque performance. As part of the Gladstone’s One Night Only series, Hoser Burlesque brings to the stage a show full of patriotism and parody.
