Yes, there are two “front” doors. The one in the centre opens into the living room, while the one on the right opens into a foyer space attached to the kitchen:

The history
Built in 1941, this quant one-storey received a major renovation three years ago. The kitchen now features a deep double sink, concrete countertops, and modern lighting. The bathrooms have new vanities, toilets, faucets, and tiled shower walls.

The place
While not a large home, there are unique amenities here that should not be overlooked. With a total of four doors — two in front, two in back — there are four places to store the boots and coats that inevitably pile up. That nice shed has electricity, making it a great space for those with ambitious hobbies. And of course, the basement apartment not only offers more space, but it could also potentially be rented out to help offset the mortgage payments.

The current owner primarily uses the front door to the side of the house:

Biggest selling point(s)
The basement apartment is pretty sweet. For first-time buyers, it’s a money-making opportunity; for those downsizing, it’s a space for visiting friends and family. That deep lot is pretty sweet too — a little urban oasis.

Possible deal breaker
It could be tight for a family of more than three. Oh, and if you’re planning on renting out the basement apartment do your homework: it is zoned for a basement apartment, but the realtor could not confirm whether the unit meets all fire code requirements.

The downstairs apartment has a small (but new) kitchen:

And the bathroom:

The backyard has a shed, a sitting area with a wood stove, and a sloping hill perfect for toddler tobogganing:
