The History
Developer Bill Teron saved this 15-acre parcel of Beaverbrook, now Kanata, in 1964, with the intention to build his own house there one day. Keen to respect the topography and mature trees of the land, he was able to create Kanata Rockeries in 1998 due to changes in planning laws that allowed for one, single narrow, winding road through the property, which remains a private road dotted with architecturally interesting homes designed by Teron.
