From the archives: A profile of Max Keeping (1942 – 2015)

Today, Ottawa mourns Max Keeping, the broadcaster and philanthropist who became Ottawa’s adopted son before growing into the city’s father figure over the course of 37 years as a local television fixture at CJOH/CTV Ottawa. His tireless off-camera work for fundraisers and charities cemented his status as a nurturer of the community.

In memory of Max, we’re posting the article, Keeping keepin’ on, which was written by former editor Rosa Harris-Adler for OTTAWA Magazine (then called Ottawa City) in 2004.
