SOCIETY: What will you be gossiping about in the aftermath of the Royal visit?

Prince William and Princess Catherine take the capital by storm for Canada Day, with four public events in the capital between June 30 and July 2. In our quest for the inside scoop, here’s who we’d love to get together with for a debrief in the wake of their visit

Elaine Lui
The etalk regular is a gossip maven, a follower of fashion, and a fanatical royal watcher. She flew to London for the wedding. We’d love to deconstruct the Princess’s frocks over hors d’oeuvres.

Matthew Rowe
The spokesman for the Ottawa chapter of the Monarchist League of Canada will be invaluable when our merry band begins dissecting which events (and guests) made the cut on this tour.

The Security
The RCMP tries to match the personalities of its security detail to their charges. Dinner with the couple’s minder should provide some insight into the real William and Catherine.

Sharon Johnson
The GG’s wife should make an instant connection given her love of all things horsey. Will she throw caution to the wind and tell us what it’s like to meet the Royal family’s biggest stars?

Alison Eastwood
The Hello! editor relies on royalty for newsstand supremacy. We want the scoop on the behind-the-scenes scramble as the mag pulls out all the stops to cash  in on Will and Kate mania.

David McCaffrey
The luxe McCaffrey gowns are named after the women who inspired them. After observing the Princess, we want the designs for the cocktail dress David would envision for her.
